My Phuoc General Hospital , located in My Phuoc III Industrial Park, Ben Cat District, Binh Duong Province, and a member of Becamex IDC, is the first healthcare organization in Vietnam to participate in the TWI – Job Instruction program.

The first course at My Phuoc Hospital was delivered to Head Nurses, as well as nurses from the Emergency Department, Internal Medicine Department, and Laboratory Department. This program is part of the hospital’s initiative to standardize nursing skills and improve hospital quality management.

The training program received strong support from the Hospital’s Board of Directors, along with enthusiastic participation and active learning from the nursing team.

Let us consider the real challenges in the healthcare sector:

  • Pressure to train new employees;
  • Pressure to retrain, standardize, and update new techniques for existing staff;

During the program, particularly in the practical sessions on the TWI – Job Instruction method, we discussed these challenges and explored practical solutions:

  • New employees lack experience and vary significantly in capability and learning ability. How can training be made effective?
  • How can they quickly grasp their tasks and confidently work as part of a team?
  • Existing staff may have experience and established habits, but these are not always correct. How should this be addressed?
  • With heavy daily workloads, how can staff find time to train others?
  • How can trainees be evaluated immediately after training?
  • When there are multiple ways to perform the same task, how can processes be standardized (based on the best method)?
